BTTS/GG - Both Teams to Score (BTTS) Stats
Both teams to score is among the most popular betting tips in the sports betting market provided by bookmakers for you to use and stake your game. This form of bet is generally abbreviated as BTTS, meaning both teams to score, or GG, meaning goal goal; it therefore means both abbreviations mean the same thing, and you can directly use them to replace each other.
It doesn't matter which bookmaker you are using to play your game; the rule remains the same: once you place a bet on both teams to score a goal, it is simply expected from the home team as well as the away team for your bet and your stake to be successful. But if at the end of the full time (90 minutes) of the game a goal was only recorded from one side, it therefore means your ticket is not successful.
As a punter, instead of directly betting on both teams to score BTTS/GG, you can otherwise bet on NG, meaning no goal. Once you place a bet on NG in your ticket, it simply means that the team that you backed in your ticket will not have a goal for your bet and your stake to be successful. Your ticket can only be cut if there is a goal from both teams at the end of the full time (90 minutes) of the game or play.
A GG/BTTS prediction can either be played as both teams to score (BTTS/GG) yes or both teams to score (BTTS/GG) no. In a layman's understanding, both teams to score (BTTS/GG) yes can only be successful when a goal is scored by the home team as well as the away team. On the other hand, when you stake on both teams to score (BTTS/GG) no, both sides are not expected to score in a football match; a goal is only expected from one side for you to win your game.
What does BTTS mean?
BTTS is a betting tip whose interpretation remains the same irrespective of the bookmaker that you are using to stake the game. As it is abbreviated BTTS, it means both teams to score. Once you back this option in your ticket, the selected team must both have a goal in the football match before the final whistle of the game or play.
Whether you are betting on Bet9ja, Sportybet, Betking, or 1xBet, once you place a bet on both teams to score, you can only cash out your bet if there is a goal from both sides, and you don't even have to wait till the full time (90 minutes) of the game. As long as your bet and your stake continue to remain valid, you are free to cash out your bet, but if both teams fail to score within the stipulated time, which is 90 minutes of the game or play, then you have lost your bet and your stake.
What is Both Teams To Score BTTS/GG example?
An example of the both teams to score GG/BTTS prediction is a football match between Chelsea and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge during the English Premier League (EPL), and you place a bet on both teams to score at the end of full time (90 minutes) of the game or play.
